The Metal Gear Solid movie is finally coming to the big screen. Directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, known for the hit "Final Destination: Bloodlines," have signed a deal with Sony Pictures.
This agreement involves directing a film adaptation of the popular video game Metal Gear Solid. It solidifies their partnership with the studio.
In addition to Metal Gear Solid, there is also an animated Venom movie from Sony Pictures Animation. Avi Arad and Ari Arad will produce Metal Gear.
Lipovsky and Stein are also working on the original sci-fi film "The Earthling" for Columbia Pictures, produced alongside Eric Heisserer and Scott Glassgold.
Details about their other projects at Sony remain under wraps, but they are said to be high-profile across various genres.
Their new company, Wonderlab, will develop films for them to direct and original projects for other directors. The focus is on creating wildly fun and commercially successful films.
